to Create a Carnival like Festival by Gail Leino Signifying the last day of Carnival, Mardi Gras is a great opportunity to celebrate. Why not mark the occasion with a party? Games such as those below are a good place to start. Pass the Key Mardi Gras Party Game This game is lots of fun and is sure to get everyone tied up in knots! For this game youll need two large keys of the same size, two pieces of string at least 50 feet long, and a large, even group of players (at least 18). Prior to the game tie each key to a piece of string. The two teams line up side by side, and the key must be passed from the front player to the back that is, by passing the key down all players shirts, trousers, dresses pants and the like. The first team to thread all their team-members together is the winner of this fun Mardi Gras party game. Musical Caps Mardi Gras Party Game This fun Mardi Gras party game is a variation on the old favourite Musical Chairs. Prior to the party, make or purchase roughly enough paper party hats for all guests. Party guests form a circle, and all the children except one receive a party hat. Music is started, and the party hats must get passed from head to head. When the music is stopped, the player not wearing a party hat leaves the circle and one hat is discarded. The game continues until there is one player the winner left. ![]() About the Author:
